The following information has been provided to help you understand what we as a people of faith believe. It is based upon the Bible as our sole source of authority in determining doctrine and practice.
This information is not meant to be all-encompassing and there may be other issues about which you have questions. For a deeper look into our Statements of Faith, we would like to invite you to join our Welcome to Crosspoint classes. “Crosspoint Church is a non-denominational Christian church led by local Elders (pastors). Our mission is to follow Jesus for God’s glory.Although we have no formal affiliation with a denomination, we are a partner church with the Advance Movement, a network of nearly 130 churches worldwide.. Our mission is to make disciples (fully-devoted followers) of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

We believe that the Christian covenant of marriage is sacred, defined by God in the Scriptures, remaining as a holy symbol of Christ and His enduring covenant with the church and as such cannot be redefined by man or any civil government but remains as a covenant between one male and one female. As followers of Jesus Christ this is what we mean when we use the word “marriage”. This differentiation from other types of unions is not one of condemnation or judgement but one of devotion to Jesus, the Scriptures, and the community of the Holy Spirit.
